The origins of the brand arise from the Vincent family, a renowned shoemaking family, specializing in high quality handmade footwear. Their goal is to produce high quality men’s dress shoes that have superior comfort and that are long lasting, this is achieved by using the Goodyear Welt process which is the traditional method for the manufacture of men’s dress shoes, taking its name from the inventor who devised the original machine to replace the earlier completely hand sewn method. The benefit of a dress shoe which is made using the Goodyear welt construction is that the shoe is mainly stitched and can be resoled repeatedly, giving the shoe a lifespan of years, sometimes even decades. All of these qualities are only for a remarkable small investment.
