Goodyear Welted
The Goodyear welt process is the traditional method for the manufacture of men’s formal shoes. The operators will make the last first and shape the upper by fastened the calf on the last and welt to the inner and upper sole. Goodyear shoes cannot be manufactured through line production, each shoes are hand made by high-skilled operators. Goodyear shoes are relatively more waterproof and solid than other shoes because of the welt-sole constructions. Resole and refurbishing are the other two major advantages of goodyear welted shoes, which greatly prolongs the life of the shoe.
